Information Session
CampusFrance, Singapore

The Ambassy of France in Singapore held a meeting on July 17th about preparing students leaving to study in France. More than fifty of them were present. The meeting was co-organized by the SSAF (Singaporean Students Association in France) and its representant Sabrina Lee.

During this information session, many subjects and questions have been approached. Among those : the presentation of useful documents (available here) regarding the arrival or cost of living in France, the estimated budget required for students, different options to find housing in Paris or elsewhere in France, as well as administrative procedures that the new students are required to follow.

Mutual assistance between new students and students already in France was at the center of the talks and exchanges. Structures of welcoming like the Erasmus Student Network or the SSAF were widely presented to the soon-to-be students in France. SSAF presented its « pair Buddies » system, enabling students already in France to help the new arrivals. This association also organize many activities like Chinese New Year or Dipawali all year for Singaporeans in France.

The Campus France Singapore wish you a great departure, an enriching experience in France and a lot of succes to all the students !
